The Sacred Steps
Naya Ghat, popularly known as Ram Ki Paidi, is the magnificent stepped ghat complex on the Saryu river. This is Ayodhya's primary bathing ghat where thousands of pilgrims take a sacred dip daily, especially on auspicious occasions.
The beautifully constructed paidi (steps) descend to the river, offering a grand spectacle during evening aarti and festivals. Ram Ki Paidi is the spiritual heart of Ayodhya's riverfront.
