Ashram of the Devoted Son
Shravan Ashram honours Shravan Kumar, the supremely devoted son who carried his blind parents on a pilgrimage. Built at the confluence of the Bisuhi and Madha rivers, the ashram marks the area associated with his tragic story.
King Dasharath accidentally killed Shravan while hunting, and the curse from Shravan's parents ultimately led to Rama's exile. The ashram teaches the sacred value of filial devotion and the law of karma.
